The Mixing Bowl
Recipes from members and supporters of Bongaree Bowls Club
These make a great gift or a refreshing addition to your own recipe collection!
The cook book is one of the many fundraising Initiatives of the Bongaree Bowls Club Craft Group.
It is A5 sized and contains 50 recipes and colour prints.
There are copies available at $20 each, please ask the bar staff or the ladies committee for your copy.
10th November: Wendy Rollason’s President’s At Home had a wonderful response! There were 80 bowlers from Bongaree, MBDLBA, Bribie Island, Solander Lake, Kawana, Woodford, Kilcoy, Woombye, Bramble Bay and Nerangba. A fun and friendly game of fours was bookended by a special morning tea and a delicious lunch.
Special guests were: representatives from MBDLBA, Patroness - Joy Lambie, Life Members - Doreen Pennery and Honey O’Neill, Board Chairperson - Ian Paterson, and Matriarch - Rose Smith.
Thank you to everyone who donated to the raffle pool, and to Bribie Island Skin Cancer Clinic who sponsored the day.
The Men’s MBDBA Division 10 Pennant Champions won the flag 17 September! David Vaughan, Col Hodges, and Peter Thatcher, on behalf of the team, were presented with the pennant at a recent representative dinner.
